Applications:

1. Used as a glass etchant, disinfectant, preservative, solvent for metal beryllium, surface treatment agent for silicon steel plates, and also used in the manufacture of ceramics and magnesium alloys;
2. Used as chemical reagent, glass etchant (often used together with hydrofluoric acid), disinfectant and preservative in fermentation industry, solvent for metal beryllium made of beryllium oxide, and surface treatment agent for silicon steel plate;
3. Used in the manufacture of ceramics, magnesium alloys, cleaning and descaling of boiler feed water systems and steam generation systems, and acidification treatment of sand and gravel in oil fields. It is also used as a catalyst component for alkylation and isomerization;
4. It is used for acid treatment in oilfields to manufacture magnesium and magnesium alloys. It can be used as matting, blooming and etching agent for glass, as a wood protective agent, as a brightening agent for aluminum, as a rust remover in the textile industry, and as an analytical reagent in electroplating and electronics industries;
5. Used as analytical reagent and bacterial inhibitor;
6. Precautions:

Handling Precautions: Closed operation, strengthen ventilation. Operators must undergo special training and strictly abide by the operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear self-priming filter dust masks, chemical safety goggles, anti-poison infiltration overalls, and rubber gloves. Avoid generating dust. Avoid contact with acids. When handling, load and unload lightly to prevent damage to packaging and containers. Equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may be harmful residues.

Precautions for storage: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Keep container tightly closed. It should be stored separately from acids and should not be mixed. Storage areas should be equipped with suitable materials to contain spills.
